Care and Repair
It depends on how often you wear it, but we'd recommend checking it once a month for cleaning.
Our jewellery is made from precious metals and can get wet. Over time, silver jewellery can oxidise and can dull slightly, but they can be bought back to life again with a clean and polish.
We'd recommend removing your jewellery before swimming or using cleaning products as some chemicals may tarnish the surface of the piece.
Our silver pieces are made using Sterling Silver, which is more hardwearing pure silver alone. Silver is a precious metal and requires some cleaning from time to time, but with proper care will retain its beauty and last for generations to come.
Silver tarnishes when exposed to salt air and products containing sulphur. However, silver that is regularly used requires less care and we would encourage you to wear your silver every day.
Use a small amount of silver cleaner on a soft cloth and gently rub your silver several times. Rinse the piece thoroughly with water and carefully dry.
Store in a soft container or bag, and in humid conditions with some silica crystals to remove the water that may be in the air.
Gold jewellery should be professionally polished or cleaned by a jeweller. Polishing removes metal from the surface, so we wouldn't recommend doing this too often.
Between professional care, gold pieces can be cleaned with a non abrasive gold cleaner.
We'd recommend removing gold jewellery when cleaning, swimming or bathing, cooking, working out, and using hair products or applying lotions.
Your gold jewellery can be stored in the jewellery box that it is delivered in, which has a soft lining to protect the piece when not in use.
